Tasting Logic

Warm climate, high alcohol, high tannin oaky red's of Very Good or Outstanding quality are incredibly common in wine exams, you need to compare this with the Beaujolais-style simple low tannin reds to really calibrate. This wine can come up in a variety/country/climate trio so is important to bank this one in your memory.
