Tasting Logic

High alcohol, full body, lots of oak, tropical fruit flavours and some residual sugar left in the wine is a classic Californian Chardonnay. It is an essential style of wine to become familiar with for both winemaking and climate reasons - keep going back to this and compare to a Chablis or potentially an oaky South African Chenin Blanc.

The flavours are not as precise as it could be and also the wine does not show a long finish ( it is mainly sugar and alcohol) and therefore is not 'Outstanding'
