Tasting Logic

A big and bold Shiraz that has all the hallmarks of traditional Barossa Valley, it does lack the generous black pepper note associated with later hang-time Shiraz/Syrah but that certainly does not hurt the quality.

It is long and intense with lots of bold oak character balancing perfectly with the fresh intense black fruit. The wine holds it's alcohol incredibly well  and so it does not overpower. The palate displays a lot more tertiary notes than the nose suggests and the finish becomes more meaty and leathery.
