Tasting Logic

A simple red wine with simple primary fruit, the 2016 has more of a classic Bordeaux 'bite' with a touch of greenness and astringency compared to the 2015. The lack of complexity and length on both put them towards the bottom end of quality but the astringency and sharpness of the 2016 place it slightly lower at acceptable.

This style of wine is essential to try for anybody studying for a tasting exam as it is often an essential part of a Bordeaux flight particularly if quality is wanting to be explored.
