Tasting Logic

This is a good wine with enough varietal character and finish to call ‘good’ but there is a distinct warmth and hot quality to both the palate and the finish. The fruit seems slightly confected and generic with a lack of precision, the wine will only fade with age and therefore will not gain in any significant complexity.

This wine will often be part of a varietal flight and also an Alsatian set so it is worth getting to know so you are not confused if it ever comes up.

Previous and post vintages seem a little fresher and may have slightly more precise fruit with a touch more acidity.
