Tasting Logic

A bright and fresh Pinot Gris with more precision and aromatic diversity than the Trimbach. Acidity, alcohol and body are all typical of Pinot Gris as is the ripe nature of the fruit. No new oak present. The wine could potentially age further in bottle and gain a touch more complexity with some honey and nut notes but not enough to call the wine outstanding. The alcohol is better in balance than the Trimbach which is another reason for its higher quality assessment.
